Graduate Programs

The School of Economic Sciences at WSU offers the following graduate programs/options:

Masters degrees

Master of Applied Economics, MAE program (one-year program, data and industry focus, No GRE required).

Master of Science in Economics, MSE program (3-4 semesters, research focus, PhD preparation, GRE required).

PhD programs

PhD degree in Economics.

PhD degree in Agricultural Economics.

Preparatory programs

Pre-Master option, for students with little or no Economics/Math background who seek admission in the MAE or MSE programs.

PhD-bound option, for students without a Masters degree in Economics who seek admission in our PhD programs.
